The audio walk was commissioned by the Museum Haus Opherdicke on the occasion of the show “HERBERT ROLF SCHLEGEL – Die Versöhnung von Mensch und Natur”. The audio walk deals with the exhibition theme and invites you to take a walk around the museum. The artist Herbert Rolf Schlegel defines cutouts through his painting: the motifs reflect his gaze. What intentions, desires and ideas are hidden in them? And how can his perspective on humans and nature be reconciled with the one we as viewers take almost 100 years later? These and other questions are explored during the 30-minute audio walk, while the landscape, the painter's own experience and his imagery are interwoven to form an individual mixture of realities. In addition, items of clothing can be discovered in the environment that look as if they have sprung from Schlegel's paintings.
