This audio-walk is an attempt at learning about the urban space through the perspective of a profoundly different being. The tour takes a closer look at cats living on the streets of Jaffa (Israel) and at human/animal relationships. Over the course of several weeks, Sonya Schönberger and Johanna Steindorf mapped the cats in the neighborhood and approached them in order to record their individual voices. In addition to these sounds, different texts and quotes were recorded to create a framework for the participant’s experience.

The audio walk was first implemented in Echoes.xyz and can be listened to online or by downloading the app.
